Fourth of July Patriotic Tin Can Wind Sock
What’s your favorite item that you have recycled or reused into something new? We love recycling used materials into fun projects at Team Green Kid Crafts, and this tin can wind sock was one of our recent favorites!
Supplies: two empty cans, scissors, red and white streamers (or ribbon), hot glue gun, star stickers, twine, blue construction paper, hammer and screwdriver.
Step 1: After taking labels off the cans, cut blue construction paper to fit around each can.
Step 2: Have an adult help glue the paper on with a glue gun.
Step 3: Once both cans are covered, add stickers!
Step 4: Cut streamers and, with adult help, glue them to the inside of the can, alternating red and white.
Step 5: Use a hammer and screwdriver to pound two holes in the top of each can.
Steo 6: Tie the twine through holes to connect cans together.
Happy Fourth of July!!
