I am excited to share this week’s video, the go-to breakfast and weekend snack in our household: the power smoothie.  I love smoothies because they are healthy and an easy way to squeeze in vitamins, fruits, and veggies.  Most importantly, they are quick and easy to make and you can consume when on the go – a multitasking mom’s dream!  This video features my favorite smoothie of the moment full of fresh fruit, veggies, fiber and protein.  I make this most mornings and drink when driving to work.  And the kids love variations of this smoothie as a mid-afternoon snack.  Below, I’ve included the ingredients that I used as well as a couple of excellent resources for alternative smoothie ideas.  Would love to hear from you on your favorite healthy smoothie recipe!
